Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers about the InterviewStorm AI interview assistant: how it works in live calls, what it costs, and how stealth mode keeps your screen share clean.
What is InterviewStorm?
InterviewStorm is a real-time AI interview assistant. It listens to the interviewer during a live call, understands the question, and shows you a short, structured answer within seconds. It also reads coding problems from your screen and suggests a solution.
Is there an AI that answers interview questions in real time?
Yes. InterviewStorm is a real-time AI interview helper. During the live call it listens to the interviewer, catches the question, and shows a short answer within seconds, so you can read it and say it in your own words.
Is InterviewStorm a free AI interview assistant?
You can start free. Every account gets a free 10-minute live session with every feature on, including stealth mode and coding help, with no credit card. After that, the Unlimited plan is $19.99 a month or $9.99 a month billed yearly.
How much does InterviewStorm cost?
There is a free 10-minute session with no card needed. The Unlimited plan is $19.99 per month, or $9.99 per month when billed yearly ($119.88 a year). Both include unlimited sessions.
Can the interviewer see InterviewStorm on my screen?
With stealth mode on in the desktop app, the InterviewStorm window is left out of screen sharing and screen recording on Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and the other apps we support. You see it on your own display; the other side does not.
Which apps and coding platforms does it work with?
It works with Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex, and Amazon Chime, plus coding tests on HackerRank, CoderPad, CodeSignal, Codility, and LeetCode, and one-way video interviews on HireVue.
Does it help with coding interviews?
Yes. Capture the problem on your screen and InterviewStorm returns a working solution with the approach, edge cases, and time and space complexity. It covers Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, SQL, and more.
Will the answers sound like me?
Answers are built from the resume and job post you upload, so they use your real projects and numbers. They are short on purpose: key points you can say in your own words, not a script to read.
Which languages are supported?
InterviewStorm transcribes and answers in many languages, including English, Spanish, Mandarin, and Arabic. You can set the interview language and the answer language separately.
What do I need to run it?
Windows 10 or later, or macOS 12 or later, with at least 8 GB of RAM and a stable internet connection. You can also use the web app in Chrome without installing anything. Stealth mode needs the desktop app.
Is there an InterviewStorm Chrome extension?
No extension is needed. The InterviewStorm web app runs in desktop Chrome with nothing to install, which is handy for practice and for calls where you do not share your screen. For stealth mode, use the Windows or macOS desktop app.
What is the difference between an AI interview assistant, an interview copilot, and an interview helper?
They are different names for the same kind of tool: software that listens to a live interview and gives you real-time answers. InterviewStorm does all of that in one app, with live transcription, coding help, system design structure, and STAR answers from your resume.
Does it work for phone interviews?
Yes, as long as you take the call on your computer so InterviewStorm can hear the interviewer, for example through Zoom, Teams, or a web dialer. On a regular phone call held to your ear, it has no audio to listen to.
Is there a limit on usage?
The Unlimited plan has no session limit. A single session can run for up to 2 hours, which covers almost every interview loop. Fair use terms apply.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your account page and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. See the refund policy for details.
