Privacy Policy

How InterviewStorm collects, uses, and protects your data, and the choices you have.

Last updated: October 10, 2026

This policy explains what InterviewStorm collects when you use our website, desktop apps, and web app, and what we do with it.

What we collect

  • Account details: your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name.
  • What you upload: your resume, job descriptions, and notes you add to a session.
  • Session data: the audio we transcribe and the screenshots you choose to capture, so we can generate answers.
  • Payment details: handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Usage data: basic information such as pages visited and app version, to fix bugs and improve the product.

How we use it

  • To run your sessions and generate answers.
  • To manage your account, subscription, and support requests.
  • To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your resume, transcripts, or screenshots to train AI models.

Transcripts and recordings

InterviewStorm does not record your screen or store video of your calls. Audio is processed to produce a transcript. Transcripts are saved to your account only if you turn that setting on, and you can delete them at any time.

Third parties

We use trusted providers for hosting, payments, transcription, and AI models. They process data only to provide their service to us and are bound by data protection terms.

Your choices and rights

  • Delete individual transcripts and files from your account at any time.
  • Ask for a copy of your data, or for your account and data to be deleted, by emailing support@interviewstorm.com.
  • If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or California, you have extra rights under the GDPR (EU data protection law) or the CCPA (California privacy law), including access, correction, and deletion. Email us to use them.

Data retention

We keep account data while your account is open. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep billing records.

Children

InterviewStorm is not for anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will email you or show a notice in the app before the change takes effect.
