Free AI Interview Assistant
Looking for a free AI interview assistant? Try InterviewStorm free for 20 minutes with every feature and no card, then Unlimited for $30, paid once.
Short answer: InterviewStorm is a free AI interview assistant to try: you get one 20-minute free trial with every feature on, and no credit card. That is a test drive, not a free plan for a whole interview. After it, unlimited use costs $30, a one-time payment for one month, with no subscription.
What you get in the free AI interview assistant trial
- 20 minutes of live help in real calls on Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex, or Amazon Chime, up to 15 minutes per session.
- Every feature on, including Screen Share Privacy in the desktop app, coding help, live transcription, and answers from your resume.
- No credit card. Sign up, add your resume and the job post, and start.
- Windows, macOS, or desktop Chrome. The web app needs no browser extension. Download the desktop app.
Use the free minutes in a practice call with a friend. Check three things:
- The app hears the interviewer’s voice, not only yours.
- The answers use your real projects and fit the job.
- With Screen Share Privacy on in the desktop app, your suggestions stay on your own display and are not part of the screen you share.
Interview copilot free tiers, compared
Many people search for an “interview copilot free” option. Here is what the main tools give for free, and what unlimited use costs after that.
| Tool | Free live help | Unlimited plan |
|---|---|---|
| Parakeet AI | 10 sessions of up to 10 minutes | $149.90/mo |
| AceRound AI | 30 minutes | $39.90 for a 30-day pass |
| Verve AI | 3 sessions of 15 minutes | $84.99/mo |
| InterviewStorm | 20 minutes, up to 15 per session | $30 one-time for a month |
| Final Round AI | No free live sessions | $150/mo |
Checked on each vendor’s website in October 2026. Prices and free tiers change, so check their sites before you decide.
To be clear: Parakeet AI has the biggest free tier on this list, and AceRound AI and Verve AI also give more free minutes than we do. We give less free time, and we charge much less once you pay.
Why free tiers do not cover a real interview
- A real round is longer than a free tier. Many interview rounds last 30 to 60 minutes. A 10 or 15-minute free session ends in the middle of the conversation.
- Juggling free tiers is risky. Each tool needs its own sign-up, resume upload, audio setup, and screen share test. Interview day is the wrong time to learn a new app.
- Some cheap plans leave out the key feature. For example, LockedIn AI’s $54.99 plan and Cluely’s $19.99 plan do not include screen share privacy. See the full price list.
- Paying per hour adds up fast. One hour of Parakeet AI credits costs $38. A month of InterviewStorm Unlimited costs $30, paid once, and has no session limit.
Free minutes are great for testing. For the interview itself, an unlimited plan is the safer choice.
How to keep going after the free session
Pick the option that fits how many interviews you have:
- An active job search: $30, paid once, for one month of unlimited sessions with no time limit, and no wait between them. No subscription, nothing to cancel.
- A longer search: no subscription: buy another month for $30 only when you need it.
Unlimited includes every feature. If it does not work for you, you can get a refund within 7 days of the payment if you used it for less than 60 minutes of live help. Read the refund policy.
Lower prices for some people:
- Students get 30% off with a university email ($21 for a month), and people who were recently laid off get 10% off ($27 for a month).
- India: ask for the local price and payment options by email. See the India page.
- Some other countries also have lower local prices. Email support@interviewstorm.com with your country to get yours. See discounts.
