Know which of your data InterviewStorm keeps, which it does not keep, and how to control it.

Here is a plain list of what InterviewStorm keeps and what it does not.

What is stored

  • Your profile and resumes: name, summary, work experience, skills, projects, education, and extra context.
  • Your settings: for example answer length and languages.
  • Your plan and minutes: which plan you have and how many free minutes are left.
  • Screenshots you capture: they are uploaded to secure storage so the AI can read them. This includes screenshots taken in the two-device setup.
  • Interview history, only if you turn it on. See below.
  • Error reports: when the app has a problem, it sends a technical report so the team can fix it.

If the app cannot read your resume PDF, it may keep that file. This is only to find and fix the problem.

What is not stored

  • Audio: the sound is sent live to a transcription service (a service that turns speech into text). It is not saved.
  • Video: the app does not record or store audio or video of your calls.
  • The full transcript: the complete text of the call is not saved, even with history on.

Interview history

“Save Interview History” is off by default. If you turn it on, the app saves for each interview:

  • the topic,
  • the start and end time, and the length,
  • the questions and answers.

To turn it on or off, open the app’s settings. When you turn it off, the app asks if you want to delete the saved history.

With history on, you can open one interview to:

  • export it as a PDF file, or
  • delete it.
