Create your account and sign in

Create an InterviewStorm account with email or Google and sign in again later.

You need an account to use InterviewStorm. You can use your email address or your Google account.

Create an account with email

1. Open app.interviewstorm.com in your browser.
2. Click “Continue with email”.
3. Type your email address.
4. Choose a password. It must have at least 6 characters.
5. Follow the steps on the screen.

Create an account with Google

1. Open app.interviewstorm.com.
2. Click “Continue with Google”.
3. Choose your Google account and allow the sign-in.

What happens next

After you sign in the first time, the app walks you through a few setup steps. This is called onboarding (a short first-time setup). The steps are:

1. Interview language: the language your interview will be in.
2. Resume: upload your resume, type it, or skip for now. See Set up your resume.
3. Interview type: a short job title, for example “Senior Android Engineer”.
4. Extra resumes: optional, if you apply for different kinds of jobs.
5. Permissions: allow the app to use your microphone and, where possible, your device audio (the sound coming out of your computer, like the interviewer’s voice).
6. Plan screen: you can start your trial or look at the paid plan.

Your account and your free minutes are created at the language step. You can see the free minutes on the Home screen. See What the free trial includes.

You can do the setup again later. Open Settings and click “Revisit Onboarding”.

Sign in again later

1. Open the app.
2. Click “Continue with email” or “Continue with Google”. Use the same one you used to create the account.
3. If you forgot your password, use the forgot-password option. The app sends you an email to set a new password.

Use the same account everywhere

Sign in with the same account on the web app, the desktop app, and your phone. Your resume, settings, and plan follow you.
