Know how many free minutes you get, how they are counted, and what happens when they run out.
You can try InterviewStorm for free. You do not need a credit card.
How much you get
- 20 minutes in total. You get them once, when you create your account. They do not come back each month.
- Up to 15 minutes per session. A session is one interview with the app open. One session cannot go longer than 15 minutes.
Example: you practice for 15 minutes. You now have 5 minutes left for one more short session.
Where to see your minutes
- The Home screen shows “TRIAL, N min remaining”.
- When you click “Start Interview”, the app shows how many minutes are left. Click “Continue with N min” to use them.
How time is counted
- The clock starts when you first press Play on the Helper screen.
- It keeps running until you leave the Helper screen.
- It does not stop just because nobody is talking. So close the session when you are done.
If you are quiet for a long time, the app pauses and asks “Still there?”. See “Trial ended” and “Still there?” messages.
What the trial includes
The trial uses the same AI as the paid plan. You can use all main features: live transcription, automatic answers, typed questions, resume-based answers, and screenshots of coding questions.
When the trial ends
The app shows “Trial ended” when:
- a session reaches 15 minutes, or
- your 20 minutes in total are used up.
To keep going, choose the Unlimited plan. It has no time limit. See Plans and prices.
Tips to get the most from it
- Set up your resume first. See Set up your resume.
- Test your audio before you start the timer. See Let the app hear the interviewer.
- Use a short practice session, not a real interview, for your first try.
